Nail Jewelry and Beads – Absolutely Gorgeous

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

The concept of nail fashion is something that is growing slowly but steadily. Now-a-days women are not happy with ordinary manicures; they are looking for something more exciting and jazzy. If you too are bored with the regular manicure routine, then trendy nail art with nail jewelry or nail beads is something you should definitely try. With this exciting and glamorous change you can set yourself apart from the manicured crowd. French manicure nail art with jewelry, pearls, stones and beads is hot.

Manicure Nail ArtNail jewelry is the perfect adornment for that perfect look. With glittering gems and jewelry on your nails, you are sure to dazzle. You can go for beautifully colored gems in different shapes and sizes, or you can choose a variety of charms to match your outfit. You can even glam up your nails with rhinestones or pearls and flaunt your fingers in style!

There are different types of nail jewelry. There are ones that you can glue to your nails and there are others that are fastened to the nails.

If you don’t like the idea of piercing your nails then there are nail beads like heart shaped beads, diamond beads, and other varieties that you can stick on to your nails. Give a lovely color to your nails then decorate it with gorgeous nail beads to accentuate the effect.

Piercing nail art is not very painful; after piercing the nail with a drill, a tiny nail ring is inserted through the hole. You can also easily change your nail rings whenever you want.

You can have the manicurist do this form of nail art for you, or if you are creative enough, you can do it yourself. Whichever way you decide, make sure you have your own manicure and pedicure kit like the SaniManiPedi manicure and pedicure kit.

Fashion Footwear – Complete your look with that perfect pair

New shoes, new shoes,
Red and pink and blue shoes.
Tell me, what would you choose,
If they’d let us buy?

Bright shoes, white shoes,
Dandy-dance-by-night shoes,
Perhaps-a-little-tight shoes,
Like some? So would I.

I will never forget this poem by Frida Wolfe because I love shoes. I love them in all shapes and colors, so I thought I would share some of the styles that I always keep in my closet.

Perennial Pumps – Open toed, closed, pointed or triangular pumps are an essential in your closet. Their versatility makes them apt for any occasion: business meetings, informal dinners, cocktail parties, or fun nights out. Try these black pumps for a sophisticated, corporate look. The oomph factor in these metallic silver slingback pumps will have heads turning. Neutral shades like cream and beige will come in handy when you have nothing that matches your pretty dress. Metallic colored T-strap pumps with embellishments will dress up any outfit.Perennial Pumps

Funky Flats – Durability, reliability, functionality, and flats go hand in hand. Flip flops are the best for lazing around at home or hitting the beach. Shiny, floral, striped, or eco-friendly - this simple style comes in tons of designs and provides the ultimate in comfort. Funky Flats

Flats are also chic and gel perfectly with cropped pants, jeans, skirts and shorts.

Big Boots – Flaunt your tight fitted jeans or mini skirts with boots. Big Boots

Sexy Stilettos – They led Cinderella to her prince. They brought about a footwear renaissance with their elegance and sensuality. Yes, I am talking about the stiletto. They accentuate your height and add sexy style to any look. Every girl should have several pairs in her closet.Stiletto Sandals

Sassy Sneakers – Add a fresh twist to your collection of casual footwear with a pair of simple sneakers. Whether you are traveling, hiking or playing sports, you can rely on them every single day.Sassy Sneakers

Fashion Tips for Women

Wednesday, July 15th, 2009

When you choose a dress, don’t choose one just because it looks nice. Select a dress that best suits your body type.

• If you’re pear shaped (generous hips and thighs), choose dresses that are not too tight at the bottom. You should go for dresses with eye-catching details on the upper body of the dress and keep those pleats and gathers at the bottom to a minimum.

• For curvy women, I would suggest clothes that flatter your shape instead of hide it. After all, if you’ve got it, flaunt it. Get clothes that fit you perfectly. Not too tight nor too loose; let it be just right. The help of a tailor can go a long way for curvy women. It might be a little more expensive and time-consuming, but the results make every penny worth it.

• Flabby arms and wide shoulders? Don’t worry. To hide those problem areas, wear a jacket or a dress with long sleeves. Make sure the sleeves are not skin tight. If you try to use a shawl to hide your arms, it will make you look heavier on top. Don’t wear sleeves that are too big or fluffy either. They will make your shoulders look wider.

• Women who are petite can wear dresses with vertical stripes to create the illusion of height. If you have lean legs, knee length dresses or dresses slightly above the knee are the most flattering. Avoid horizontal stripes, wide belts and dresses that are calf length if you are petite. They will emphasize your short stature.

All these tips plus the right attitude will make it easy for you too look good every time you step out the door, no matter which body type you have.

Prom Dresses For Boys:

Prom is usually the first opportunity for a guy’s first tux. You can buy a prom suit if you plan to use it for other occasions. Otherwise renting one would be a wise choice, economically that is. Stick to a sleek and well cut suit and you can never go wrong. Don’t try to experiment with colors as you are best off in a classic black suit and leave all the pastels and bright hues to the girls. A prom suit or tuxedo usually encompasses a jacket, trousers, a bow tie, and a cummerbund. You can also choose to wear a necktie instead of a bow tie. Throw in a pair of black dress loafers and you’ll be all set.
